The women’s shelter offers social work students an internship as part of their studies. We want to give interns an insight into the various fields of work in the women’s shelter, including working with the children at the women’s shelter. The aim of the internship is to master tasks independently after familiarisation, such as accompanying the women when they go to work, the independent implementation of group sessions or smaller consultations.
The duration of the internship is set for at least one semester. A shorter time does not make any sense, as experience shows that the above period is necessary in order to be able to comprehend the work in its entirety and to be able to carry it out in a qualified manner.
